Many neighborhoods have requested traffic calming measures, but there have been limited funds to implement them. The backlog will take about 30 years to complete. Let's speed this up and complete all of the current outstanding requests. This is one of the most important things we can do to ensure the safety of ourselves and our children in our own neighborhoods!

We have requested this numerous times since City put in roundabout at Old 63 and Chinaberry creating an extremely high number of fast, cut-thru traffic. No help from City.

my experience with getting traffic calming successfully installed in our neighborhood - - took two years. Two years of frequent follow up. [not exactly weekly ... but, pretty much] It was, for the most part, effective. . . though sometimes I'm surprised not to find a pile of tires on the downside of the hump. Regardless; hills, humps ... traffic calming of any caliber is a great idea. there are traffic calming ideas that can be implemented before the city can inact calming. [we had very pretty cement potted wooden flowers]
